Integral Life Coaching

Coaching testimonial by Camara P.

My practice is grounded in creating a nurturing and compassionate space for people of all backgrounds and identities. I support people in a holistic manner while offering practices and tools that are paths for healing, inner expansion and lasting change. I am passionate about working with people who understand the connection between our internal ways of being and our external lives, and with those who are committed to making a positive impact in the world. My coaching is tailored to your unique situation and needs. It involves a customized program that includes weekly or bi-weekly meetings, practices and exercises to do at home, and resources to support your ongoing transformational process.

Individual Coaching

My one on one coaching practice can foster your ongoing development in a number of realms. These include:

  • facilitating your self-actualization process by creating a deeper, more grounded connection to your strengths, values, and purpose

  • expanding your capacity to work effectively with the complexity, challenge and opportunities related to race and social justice in your professional and/or personal life, which may include

    • your equity focused efforts in your work place, and in your role as a friend, colleague, partner, parent, and family member

    • your experience in inter-racial intimate relationship and/or parenting multi-racial children

  • learning tools and practices that enable you to cultivate greater presence, ease, enjoyment, and joy while you manage stress, burnout, and work-personal life balance

  • cultivating deeper connection and authenticity in the relationships in your life

Based on my training, experience, and orientation, my approach seems to work particularly well for those who have an interest in mindfulness, the body, spirituality and social justice.

Group and White Affinity Space Coaching

An affinity group is a space for people with a shared aspect of identity to support one another in our experience, to reflect authentically and deeply together, and foster our understanding of how our identity shapes our experience. White racial affinity groups allow for us to do this complex internal exploration without asking People of Color to do the emotional work and be exposed to the potential emotional harm from having to teach White People about how our racism manifests. As we expand our ability to reflect on and articulate our own racial awareness and experiences as White people, we can also draw from the many documented experiences, teachings, and wisdom from People of Color in our process. We do this so that we can support and hold one another accountable for aligning our ways of being with our deepest values and intentions.

I support and guide White affinity groups within organizations and schools who care about equity and would like to engage in ongoing work together about how whiteness manifests within ourselves, our ways of working together, our practices, and organizational culture and systems. This work includes:

  • cultivating compassion, connection, and trust within ourselves and for one another in order to honestly and courageously grapple with our own, often unconscious or unintentional, biases, prejudices, and racism

  • communal learning from resources and tools to build strategies and expand our awareness of how whiteness manifests within ourselves, in groups and our organizations

  • engaging in practices and exercises that expand our ways of being and possibilities for our actions, interactions, and work around race and equity

Testimonials

I had a very positive impactful life coaching experience with Mollie. When you work with Mollie you definitely feel like you are working with someone who comes from a deep and expansive life experience. It is clear she is able to tap into her life experience and training when Mollie is working with you during the coaching sessions. Also, her authenticity, intelligence, and compassion come shining through during your interactions with her. She has the capacity to be present and engaging with her reflections, insight, and recommendations. I appreciate Mollie’s ability to challenge me in ways that I could relate to. I appreciated her homework assignments, which were stimulating, insightful and really more growth-work than homework. If you are looking for someone who brings integrity, trust, and a high level of professionalism to their work, then you will feel good about your investment with Mollie and appreciate the value that will come from your sessions.

I approached Mollie at a time when I was struggling to gracefully navigate radical changes in my life, and her coaching has made that possible (and helped me understand that sometimes, it’s more important to make the change than be graceful). She’s an active listener who’s able to meet me where I am, reflect what she’s hearing, give me fresh ways of understanding situations, and help me get in touch with my own wisdom. I am grateful that she manages to be both straightforward/clear/grounded and compassionate/empathetic, too, which is quite inspiring.

Mollie has given me some very powerful practices which helped me reconsider current narratives, invite new narratives, work on my self-awareness (including being more grounded and cultivating hope), and begin to engage in daily meditation. After several months of meeting with her, I certainly feel that I have new tools to navigate change, as well as a stronger connection to my own native wisdom.

Mollie offers a holistic approach to coaching that is extremely helpful. She worked with me for 9 months and offered me a safe space to explore my vision, deepen my purpose, and implement an ongoing practice that works for me. She is very observant, reflective, and a wonderful thought partner. Her approach is gentle and encouraging. I would highly recommend her for personal and professional coaching!
